I think this word sums up my table and my life right now. I am probably mentally learning to be the most selfish person I have ever been (dr’s orders to put my needs first). He doesn’t just mean physically, eat right, take meds and get enough sleep (I am typing this after midnight oh the irony lol) but also leisurely. When I have a little energy I am to spend it doing what I love with who I love. leaving negative people and energy behind. Well for example if I have 5 hours a week at 40% energy of an average 28 yo female, I should spend all 5 hours doing what I love but with me the guilt will pile up so we will have to compromise on 2.5 hours of a muse studio business, 1.5 hours of house chores and 1 hour of fun. So for all my snoopers from Mrs Dunnit part of the world here is my table in transition.
I know I sound like a broken record but 10 more days and Easter will be here and gone and the chocolates molds will be packed away in Mom’s storage for another year. Right now is crunch time and really my mom has been doing 85% of it as my body only allows so much and the Dr appt take up so much time. Now I have a theory my life is really the “Truman Show” and I am being watched by millions of people who get to vote on what my diagnosis of the year will be, just a theory of course. So to switch things up a little I am going to start with a shot of the table first for all my Woywwer’s I love all your comments and well wishes they truly touch my heart.
The 4 piece mold are cute wii remotes and the 5 bar are Ipods adorable!! They are ready for packaging!
Over at the Perfect Sentiment this week we have a great uplifting/congratulatory challenge and the twist is a gorgeous sketch. I did a little flip and twist and Viola!!
The colors came from the Stars and Stamps color challenge (yellow and green). I am also entering this card into the Simon Says Challenge (anything goes:) and the Craft-room Challenge (bling or glitter/ sparkle). Our amazing repeat sponsor this week is Pattie’s Creations and she will be giving one lucky entry a free digi!
It is another wonderful Wednesday here in the crafty couple’s corner and as of late we have a million things going on. We had 2 great workshops this weekend, we had so much fun so check out our awesome Spotlight Specials and Birthday Specials. We also have another great challenge over at the Perfect Sentiment. This week’s challenge is a to make a Thank you card but the twist is to “distress”. Wowza my OCD went bazinga I don’t tear, smudge, wrinkle anything for distressing purposes so after 48 hours of the most stressful crafting of my life. Here is my card.
I hope exposing the white core of our beautiful Seattle paper embossed with our swirls embossing plate counts as distressing. The gorgeous rose image was provided by our wonderful sponsor this week Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps.
They are giving away a $10 gift certificate to one entry from this week chosen by random.org so hop on over to Perfect Sentiment and get your entry in. For more beautiful distressed Thank you’s check out the rest of our wonderful design teams’ creations.

So here it is Wednesday literally 2:40am I am in crisis mode my blog should have been done over 3 hours ago, I should already have a shower and be in bed. Instead I am here on the couch but in 8 hr exactly I have to be on the road to a dr appt on the other side of the state and Jeremy can’t get off or we would be homeless since it is one of 7 appts in 2 weeks. I had 3 last week and I have 4 in the next 3 days. Anyways I tend to forget I am only 1/4 of a normal healthy adult and that these appts and having to drive myself (so no medicine) is enough to put me on bed rest the rest of the month but no I try to add homemade Easter Chocolates (something has to pay all these medical bills) and our A Muse Studio business which has 2 workshops this weekend (hoping to grow large enough to not need to do chocolates 😉 on top of it. Jeremy then gets an emotional roller coaster so laiden with pain there is nothing to do but cry but as they say the show must go on except Sunday (I totally slept through Sunday). Now to the show!
This week at the Perfect Sentiment we have a great Easter Color Story Challenge. The challenge is to make a card with an Easter sentiment on the front and the twist is to use the colors pulled from the photo below.
I chose to combine this with the adorable sketch this week over at The Sweet Stop Sketch and here is what I came up with I hope you like it.
This post is actually late (gasp) I know but it is late for a good reason. SLEEP, yep fell asleep right in the middle of typing this post and slept for 12 hours (I mean my normally pain interrupted sleep) but better than I have in a week, so I am soooooooo sorry!!! Now on to business this week has been filled with fun A Muse Studio business, having workshops, booking workshops, working with new/ prospective downlines so my wonderful hubby took the wheel on designing this week’s Perfect Sentiment Challenge card. This week you are to make a get well card and the twist is to use the awesome sketch provided. I LOVE when Jeremy gets crafty but I really think he knocked this one out of the park.
and the best part is he cleaned up after himself other than a pile of scraps for me to sort (as I am super ocd about scrap organization) he left the space in great conditions for WOYWW. I am doubly impressed.
The sample rings and invites were from the few hours (other than the sleeping hours) I was home last night unpacking my bag and repacking before heading back to mom’s today. So for all you WOYWW how do you get to everyone?? is there a trick? do you skip around? I feel so bad I only got to 40 last week UGH 200 seems impossible. I really hope you all liked Jeremy’s card as much as I do for more challenge details and to check out the sketch head on over to the Perfect Sentiment for a chance to win a prize from our wonderful sponsor Pattie’s Creations.
Another wonderful Wednesday in blogging world and around here tha now means 2 things a new Perfect Sentiment Challenge and now for the third week in a row WOYWW and if you don’t know what that is well It is addicting bet the coolest blog hop ever of the most eclectic crafters in the world (90% of them put me to shame). Our challenge this week at the Perfect Sentiment is to make a card that is for any holiday or season but the twist is you must use paper piercing. This week we are super lucky to be given images from Bugaboo Stamps and they let us choose.
I chose Fancy Sun Bonnet July USA she will get lots of use for AnyHero mail for OWH. This was my first time with a digi (I know what rock have I been living under??) lol but I probably should have sized her a little smaller for the sketch I chose to use from Sketch N Stash (which I didn’t pay for a thing that was used on this card they were gifts, recycled to me from other stashes or earned at convention!!) Except for copics and dies I hope that doesn’t disqualify me, it is my first time playing over there.
See she is soooo cute but you can barely see my stars poking from behind her. This card is of course representing 4th of July one of my favorite holidays but can also be used for Memorial Day which honors all our servicemen and women which I try to do every day in some small way. For more inspiration check out some of the great card our wonderful design team members created.
Oh yeah there is 2 scraps of ribbon from this card I am torn between saving or tossing they are on the edge size wise. That is my cell phone to give you relative idea. What are your thoughts? This card will also be entered in the OWH: Our Daily Bread Ribbon Challenge!
