So there is a very unfortunate reasons for my blog absence. COMPUTER DIED not 1 but 2 in the same week we have had both for a very long time (the laptop was before wi-fi) but with the move and Jeremy being laid off for the holidays we do not have a couple extra hundred dollars laying around so we improvise until we can get there. With a business that works when you do we got on the phone and are busy scheduling workshops we will have a new computer in no time. Until then we blog when we visit people and go to the library (no smart phones here, YET). So we should be back on schedule to at least 2 posts a week (my personal 2012 goal), yeah!! So lets get crafty. This past weekend I had the pleasure of spending the weekend in New Orleans with my mom and 40 fellow A Muse Studio Creative Consultants, so inspiring, educational and empowering. I used this opportunity to swap with such a talented group. While I was making 40, I made 5 extra to send to Operation Write Home. I used their great sketch #103 and also will submit to this week’s Sentimental Sunday Challenge. I used the largest of my heart die trio and nestabilities labels 8 as my die cuts.
I love how this card turned out not that I am biased or anything, lol. It is a little hard to see but the middle heart it stamped “sheet music” with “pebble” which is a beautiful light gray. Tomorrow we will have the December recap post and then next week I will be back with Perfect Sentiment but check out their challenge this week!

Well it is another “Wednesday’s Wonderful Wonder of Cricut” over at Christian Paper Crafts and today we are exploring the “borders” function of the “Life’s a Beach” cartridge. Well you know I LOVE my hybrid cards and this one is 90% because the clothespins I have had in my stash forever. With CHA just passing we are seeing a lot of what is coming to the paper crafting world and I have seen a ton of clotheslines so I decided I would make a little trendy card with older products. So I cut the swimming trunks border at 1.5″, now every other trunk is just an outline so I stuck white scraps to the back and fussy cut them. I love a|s cloud paper and I used the negative of my medium scallop border die as grass (in grass paper LOL) I offset the top layer and popped it up. Then I used toffee twine and those old clothespins. I don’t have the clear alphabet stamp set yet so I wrote with my copic multiliner “Life is a breeze” in the clouds. I really hope you enjoy!

Ok they meet, fall in love, and make beautiful card babies, LOL. During Thanksgiving weekend last year Bella Saluto did a show at John S Knight Center and we spent the weekend next to some fantastic ladies with delicious food. Last month Wendy contacted me about getting some handmade cards using her logo. Wendy’s company is all about all natural delicious foods so she was excited to know A Muse Studio papers are FSC certified which means their papers come from renewable and well managed resources. She wanted 110 cards for a variety of occasions, so I got busy 🙂 I got all the logos printed through our professional printers, Print Shop Business Center. Wendy is getting a variety of about 8 different designs, in 3 main colors. Here are a few for you to see.
You can see all the delicious goodies she has to offer here. I also took a close up of one of the cards.
I can’t wait to see Wendy’s reaction as I am super proud of how great the colors and layouts coordinated with the logo. This is a great example of how supporting small businesses truly helps the economy. Wildtree purchased from Bella Saluto who purchased from A Muse Studio and Print Shop Business Center. What a great way to kick off National Small Business Week.
After several requests for a variety pack of some of a*muse studio’s great products, I thought we could swap. You buy 1 pack, and I send you a little bit of each offered. Sounds like fun, right? I have added a page to my blog just for these swaps. You can sign up by leaving a comment or by emailing me. And don’t forget to stop back by on the 2nd to check out all the great things you can make with those goodies you are swapping! Have a great day!
Jeremy was so inspired by our new stuff, he made 4 cards last night. Yes, 4!!! So I thought I would share one with you guys. I love that he takes time to do what I love, and trust me I don’t force him. I am soooo grateful that I have such an amazing partner to face everyday with.

Many of you may have been skeptical of my husband’s in put into our new venture. Well here is proof! Jeremy was almost as excited as I was to get our box and wanted to be the first to make a card.
He built the card completely around the Bubblegum ink butterfly because Bubblegum is his favorite color so far (though we don’t have any Heather ink or paper yet so his favorite color may change).
Stamps: beautiful botanicals 2, just because, essential sentiments

Ink: fern, slate, and bubblegum
